So when making decision on offer - assume no bonuses at all and decide whether stated salary is ok for you. - Smart people is not the only factor to make a successful team. Great people should be a team and collaborate to bring even greater results. But the system is designed in a way to stimulate rivalry rather than collaboration. This makes this place not very pleasant for people who want to learn and conduct serious research.
