TWF is a place that does things that have never been done before--they are risk takers and innovators. Not EVERY project is new, but they treat every project as an opportunity to reinvent.

This is not a place where the projects always have clear cut goals. There is a lot of ambiguity where "reinvention" is concerned, and you have to be comfortable with that. If you need to be told what to do and how to do it, stay away from this place.

Cool office. I heard there was rooftop acess, but I don't think I was in the right clique to get invited up.

Projects are grossly underscoped. If you try to give an accurate level of effort for design work, you're ignored, patronized and mocked in public. So whatever you do - don't take a day rate as a contractor. I worked 14 hour days to meet my deadlines because they wouldn't listen to me on about how much work there was to do. And it turns out I was 100% right in my scoping of the work. Innovation is frowned upon. If you come up with cool design ideas, it just threatens creative leadership. They will make your life very difficult if you threaten them.
