This employer demands loyalty but has no idea what the word actually means. Respect is expected at all times, yet you won’t receive an ounce of it in return. The culture is toxic, and favoritism is glaringly obvious. If you’re not part of the “in crowd” — which seems to be made up of middle-aged men who thrive on arrogance or condescending millennial women — you’ll quickly find that you don’t belong.
The environment is draining, and no amount of hard work or dedication will change the fact that they value appearances and egos over genuine respect, professionalism, or fairness. Bottom line: unless you enjoy being disrespected and dismissed, this is not the right fit.
