Pros

I've worked for WideNet for a couple of years and it's been a great experience. They have really given me the tools to be a successful employee. It's a fast paced environment that demands a lot but also has very high rewards. They are a relationship based organization which has resulted in having great clients in the Seattle area. On top of that, the culture couldn't be better. Compensation is great, the people are great, and there are many extra incentives!

Kontras

None that come to mind. This is a great place to work for someone who is a go-getter, motivated, hungry, and truly wants to be a part of a family oriented environment.

Pros

As a contractor, felt like benefits and flexibility were fair. Company was transparent in changes in benefits. Onboarding was smooth. Available for questions any time things came up on project.

Kontras

Had more insight/info with client vs. Widenet which can be normal with different groups.

Pros

It's better than collecting unemployment

Kontras

- Recruiters violate WA state law by not divulging pay ranges, instead continuously dodging the question and asking "what are you looking for" - Submitted my pay requirements to their client incorrectly, then refused to fix - Never return calls when specifically asked to escalate employment or pay matters internally - Claim that WA state sick leave is paid by their client. It is not, is paid by the company (WideNet) - No PTO - No paid holidays - None of this was disclosed to me at the outset - Recruiters and Account Managers will simply lie to your face and expect you to thank them and ask for more
