As with many early-stage, rapidly growing companies, there can occasionally be cultural misunderstandings, due to the team’s diversity. Priorities can shift relatively quickly, which is understandable, given the company’s stage of development. At times, frequent recalibration is needed. Processes are still evolving. In some areas, they’re not fully standardized yet and need some further refinement.

Leadership genuinely shows care, especially when it comes to work-life balance. Flexibility—whether it’s in terms of hours or remote work options—is a major plus. There is a culture of can-do attitude without being over the top. People are generally positive and willing to tackle challenges head-on, but there’s also a realistic approach to problem-solving. Overall, Whitelab offers an opportunity to work on exciting projects in genomic medicine while maintaining a flexible and supportive work culture. It’s a good environment for those who appreciate a balance of meaningful work and a thoughtful, fast-paced yet supportive workplace.
