Pros
The community team that I work closely with have been nothing but amazing. Great work-life balance (for me, can't speak for everyone) You work with plenty of different companies which exposes you to various networking opportunities.
Kontras
There exist significant disparities in salary among team members who share identical roles and responsibilities. The leadership team demonstrates good intentions but appears disconnected from the realities of the workforce, fostering a culture where conformity is valued above all else. The main issue is that everyone wants to get their hands and have a say instead rather than placing trust in and providing guidance to the community teams. Regrettably, I have encountered numerous situations where leadership has directed us to communicate unfavorable news to escalated clients and vendors, only to intervene swiftly when it comes to delivering positive updates lol. On multiple occasions, leadership has introduced new product launches and building projects with the expectation of swift execution, only to backtrack when faced with resistance or if these initiatives didn't align with their envisioned image. In the pursuit of profitability, WeWork has made substantial cuts to employee benefits, including the elimination of 401K matching and a substantial reduction in the compensation packages offered to new hires. I've been here for awhile now and WeWork and it feels like a fever dream. There isn't much room for growth unfortunately, most people have shared that they feel stuck. WeWork is ever-changing, which can be both a great thing and a bad thing.
