Pros
Work was rewarding and pay was equitable; if you're willing to dedicate yourself to the job there's a lot of places where you can shine. Working with students was always great.

The burnout cycle was real. Employees would get too overburdened then would get fired or find a new opportunity, leading remaining team members to pick up the slack as management slowly worked to find replacements--or didn't find them at all--leading to more burnout. Without adequate raises to cover the increase in workload.
