Pros
The culture here is pretty solid, people actually care about the product and the impact it's making on education. There's this real sense of ownership that you don't get at a lot of companies. You're not just pushing pixels around, you're given problems to solve end-to-end, and the team trusts you to figure it out. No micromanagement, which is refreshing. The pay is competitive, especially for the Bangalore market. Plus, being profitable you don't have the constant worry about runway that you get at some startups. Working with smart people is probably the biggest draw for me. The product and engineering folks are really sharp, and collaboration feels natural. You're constantly learning from people around you, whether it's in design critiques or just casual conversations over chai. The team is small enough that you're not just a cog in the machine, but you get to work on meaningful problems at scale.
Kontras
Sometimes the scope of projects changes quickly as we respond to what teachers need, so you need to be okay with some ambiguity and pivoting. Not a con if you like variety, but worth mentioning.
