Pros
Walgreen's is constantly changing the way they do business. It makes for an exciting company to work for and things rarely get old. Management should be on the floor working beside team members. In slower stores management is responsible for just about all stocking and store maintenance tasks, while in busier stores they have more payroll to help with work load.
Kontras
I have had a few managers that have made it difficult to get promoted. Either with undefined expectations or simply two-faced and telling your DM how awful you are while telling you that you are doing an awesome job and they are fighting to get you a promotion. Shift work is the reason why I am looking elsewhere for employment. The stores are open 365 days a year including Christmas and Thanksgiving.
