Pros

Friendly Staff, Flexible Schedule, and Close location.

Kontras

The frontier program isn't a great thing - it hurts those who actually earned their place as far as departments because it is trying to make things fair all the way around. That isn't possible, just let management lead and corp needs to stop coming up with stupid policies because each location is different. I love what i do here but i hate the changes coming down from corp with the frontier program... yes, there are the overworked and lazy but management should value those that put an effort in to help especially if they need it at the store. There is a bad double standard between newly hires and their entitlement vs seniority vs popularity.... give the positions to someone who actually wants it and is passionate about it. WE WANT A CHANCE TO SHOW WHAT WE CAN DO TOO!!! Been over looked over and over for a shift lead position for about a year and a half now and each time for different reasons. Offered to help with pharmacy with them cross training csa and pharm techs but got nothing for the interest Like another one of these reviews said: DONT FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN.

Pros

Can be a fun environment. All in whom your staff is. Operating photo was fun and building projects for the customers. Learning about pharmacy operations.

Kontras

Work life balance and low pay for what is expected. Not having enough payroll to effectively run a store. My store ran FE on a 320 hour a week budget. That was barely enough to get buy and meet the expectations put out by the company. I was never able to keep a full leadership staff. When a leader called out, I had to stay. There were days I was called away from my own dinner table. SM's were forced to be in the pharmacy for more than half of their day regardless as to what is happening in the FE. I worked over 50 hours a week and barely got to spend time with my family. If I wasn't at the store I was getting a phone call and having to go back to the store.
