I was fortunate to be part of a great team and under a great leader that droves me to accomplish a lot of successful projects, despite not getting much training, business travel nor monetary gains. most of the times, we learn and develop the skills ourselves via try and error.

Very much dependent on the department managements. Regardless of individual performances, some dept easily gets training (send to US) even for small tasks/or short lived projects , while others need to settle a huge projects without any formal training/knowledge transfer, at most just audio call conference. The problem is those who went to US gets the recognition easily rather than other despite thrived locally. in the end the top management. sees the company's overall profit generation, to decide whether to shut it down or retain
