      It is fun to work with other students and you get paid pretty well for the work you have to do.

      Management doesn't always communicate things very well. Sometimes things will change with no notification to employees.

      Pros

      The experience was great. The PI was amazing and kind and I learned a lot, definitely would do it again. It yielded great results for me such as publication. I recommend for medical school or graduate school.

      Difficult to justify if you don’t plan to have a research career, graduate or professional school because the pay is lower than other positions available in Blacksburg.
