Pros

The only Pro to this position is that you get weekly direct deposit, and you work from your home. There is no more room for advancement once you enter as a Team Lead.

Kontras

You get disrespected by upper management daily. There is no appreciation for all your hard work. NO raises, when you have certain Team leads making over 15 $ an hour and they don't pull their weight, while you have other team leads that do more than their required duties. There is no organization, and a very unprofessional environment. Constant disrespect from upper management . Contradictory directives are always given. The poor agents are slaving for 9.50 an hour, when they have to offer around 21 products on each call. If they do not offer they will get a bad score on their Qa. You have the Qa dept who were Team Leads, or agents that could not do their jobs correctly, and are now scoring agents on their ability to handle calls. The whole company is ran backwards.

Pros

the job was remote. you basically cold call medicare/medicaid members or doctors offices and read a script of questions

the jobs are seasonal. they act like if you did a better job at dispositioning certain calls so that they could never be called again that the job would have lasted longer but in reality there is an end date anyway. the last contract i did was calling kidney dialysis patients and I could see our calls slowing down so i did some digging online and found the exact date from the medicare site when the surveys would be done. we had no heads up from viasource that the job was done until the monday after that date and of course we were blamed for it not going on longer.
