High turnover: A lot of people have already left, and many more are planning to leave. Morale is low, and bad management is a key reason why. Damaged external relationships: Many of the companies we deal with have made it clear they no longer want to work with VF — mainly due to how unprofessional and disorganized things are. Toxic, performative culture: There’s a surface-level friendliness, but it’s mostly fake. People often talk behind each other’s backs, and it’s hard to trust anyone. Micromanagement after app launch: Since the release of the new app, the credit team has been heavily micromanaged. Everything is under scrutiny. It feels like we’re being controlled instead of trusted — which is deeply demotivating.
