1. Upskilling required for leaders - At the leadership level, thankfully not widespread among our managers yet. Some of them ask shockingly basic questions in meetings, and it leaves us wondering how they got to those positions. There’s a serious need for upskilling. 2. Founders choose to stay blind to internal issues - They put up the appearance of action with AMAs, but these end up being filled with diplomatic, non-committal answers. No real solutions ever come out of them. 3. Everything is about perception, not progress - We’re instructed on how to speak to the founders. Sometimes very directly and sometimes very subtly. “If I were to present this to SP or RP, this is how I’d say it” has become a common phrase we hear in most squad meetings. It’s all about presentation—not discussing real progress. 4. Every team is “winning,” but revenue is flat - Every team claims success, yet we’ve seen no real movement in revenue over the last six months. The disconnect is loud.
