Pros
The corporate office is a family like atmosphere where on the sales side, the traders / sales team are buying and selling from each other and assist in filling customer purchase orders. The accounting team are also close knit and care a great deal for each other and back each other up to make sure everything gets done. Not at all like a corporate environment but since it is a small but very profitable company, relationships are important and it shows internally and to each customer.
Kontras
Need to invest in more technology. But the trading company (A&F Exports) subsidiary of parent company Twin Rivers Foods is more hands on in each transaction and so fast paced that it would be a challenge to find the time to change systems or the ordering data base. Also, benefits are very limited.
