Decisions often seem based on relationships rather than merit, fairness, or actual performance. The culture is heavily shaped by favoritism and informal alliances. Some people receive consistent protection and leniency, while others are closely watched and penalized for minor mistakes. The environment is tense and political, and many employees are hesitant to speak openly for fear of consequences. HR does not operate as an impartial or employee-centered function. In practice, it feels aligned with leadership and more focused on managing perception than addressing real issues. Raising concerns rarely leads to meaningful change and can leave employees feeling vulnerable. Leadership accountability is inconsistent.
