An electricity generation company located in a suburb area in Rivers State, Nigeria. It's an okay organization in a quiet environment. Salary is fairly okay. The Company invests time and funding on staff bonding exercises - TGIF parties etc.

Plant location is far from town and commuting to work on daily basis may be a challenge. If you opt to live in the staff quarters within the locality, then you have to deal with boredom and occasional hostilities in the area. Little to no training for staff. Governance process is still evolving as the leadership is still averse to control. Although best in class policies exist, there is need to do more in terms of implementation and this can only happen if the tone at the top improves and top management genuinely wants to run a compliant and efficient organization. High attrition of critical staff. Remuneration is average.
