Pros

The ability to pick up extra hours

Kontras

They often don't pay people properly, so I ended up working for free many shifts. They'll lose your pay adjustment form and blame you, saying you never brought it in. Even reaching out to central HR in the company, beyond the local branches, will get you nowhere. I had a team lead say that he could help me improve things in my role if I went out to grab a drink with him. Extremely disrespectful. Oh, and if you catch something in the hospital (like beg bugs, parasites, covid, lice) while performing your duties, they won't give a crap about you or your situation.

Pros

I liked (most of) my fellow coworkers

Kontras

After adjusting for inflation, my raise was a paltry <0.2%. I was told that was actually"very good." This was before it was announced that Touchpoint hit record profits. They also committed flagrant violations of labor law by telling us we weren't allowed to discuss salary amongst each other. Management was very poor during my time there. Lack of clinical knowledge and support made critical staffing periods much harder. We felt micromanaged when everyone was just trying their best. If you stood up for yourself or had a different idea, it was shot down. The morale was low and many people left for better opportunities. KPIs are a waste of time.
