Pros
The projects are very interesting and impactful, and the staff are creative, intelligent, and caring. In general, the clients are also wonderful becuase the projects that are worked on all come from a place of shared transportation values.
Kontras
Sometimes the hours can be demanding, especially when balancing proposal work or other business development (but this is similar to any private sector job. PTO is all provided in one bucket (to cover holidays, sick, vacation, etc.) and it's not enough in my opinion to cover the full range of time-off needs.
