Pros

The company as a whole has fun perks, is in an interesting industry, and is the right size to bring change. The office is a good location and well stocked with foods, snacks, and good beer. The people who work here are fun and interesting. Its okay to work from home as needed.

Kontras

Another management change is coming for no apparent reason. This seems to happen every six months and comes from the top down suddenly. Management can't make up their minds about direction which causes developers to always have to be ready to shift for no good reason. The different groups don't interact much at all and when there is conflict, it is just left to fester. People used to hang out a lot more, but since so many people have left in the past couple months, everyone just leaves at 5. The executive teams seem to ignore the problems that exist in engineering until they make a decision to change to apparently solve them.

Pros

-Mission: From the CEO and board down, each person at Ticketfly shares a common mission of applying technology to improve the live event experience of millions of people. -CEO: Andrew Dreskin is an amazing guy to work for. He has been a pioneer in the ticketing industry since selling the first online ticket in 1995 as founder/CEO of Ticketweb. He has the contacts, knowledge, and experience to have another success with Ticketfly. -Market Opportunity: Ticketfly is firmly positioned as the leading provider of ticketing services and marketing software for the middle market. An huge opportunity exists to expand upmarket and also to extend beyond music into other verticals. -Culture: Ticketfly has an outstanding culture. This is best illustrated in the Friday afternoon jam sessions in the band room within the office. -Perks: Copious snacks are provided, and employees are often surprised with food trucks and ice cream socials. But perhaps the most illustrative benefit is $200 per employee for tickets to live events.

Kontras

-Hours: Ticketlfy is a very pleasant place to work. If anything, it is a bit too comfortable. Employees work hard, but the hours should be longer and the work ethic could be rigorous.
