Pros
Employees are given the chance and encouragement to talk to high management about any concerns or ideas; free lunch and parties. All employees are encouraged to learn new skills within the company and transfer to different departments if they want.
Kontras
Aside from the salaries here being absolutely atrocious, there is no room for growth here as much as they preach there is. They encourage learning new skills and transferring to other departments, but when you get there, the grass is not greener. You take on more responsibility and work and yet, the pay does NOT increase. The micro-management is increasing at an alarming rate and all employees are constantly urged to work well beyond the 40 hour week without any overtime pay. They inject false hope into the people that if you work long nights and weekends, that you will earn more compensation, but that is an absolute lie. Those who have collected tons of data and research proving that this company pays SEVERELY under the industry standard have presented it to higher management and HR on many occasions, but not once have they made any effort or even put any thought to raising the salaries, despite all the extra hard work many employees put in. It's a dead end here. When the company constantly boasts about the increased sales and profits they are getting, not one extra cent is seen by the employees. There are many dirty little secrets that linger around and those who are not aware are fooled by the masked image the company portrays to them. Fairness is also a large problem that exists within the company, some people receiving extra recognition and compensation that perform no better than the rest that should be getting that same keep. Although the "open door" policy is strongly enforced, when employees do take advantage of that opportunity, the only answer we get is "if you aren't happy here, leave". As the company grows, more morale gets thrown out the window and the dissatisfaction among employees grows as the turnover rate each month is also growing.
