Pros

1. Exposure to Large-Scale SEO The company operates globally and targets multiple countries, which means you may work on international SEO campaigns. You can gain experience in managing large websites with thousands of pages, which is valuable for future career growth. 2. Strong Content SEO Experience Training companies rely heavily on organic traffic, so you are likely to work extensively on content optimization, keyword research, and on-page SEO. You may get hands-on experience with blog optimization, landing pages, and SERP analysis. 3. Opportunity to Learn Enterprise SEO Working on a large education website can expose you to technical SEO challenges such as crawl optimization, index management, internal linking, and site architecture. This experience is highly valued when moving to bigger companies later. 4. International Market Exposure You may work on SEO campaigns targeting markets such as the UK, US, Australia, and Europe. International SEO knowledge can significantly improve your resume.

Kontras

1. High Traffic and Ranking Pressure Since organic traffic is a major source of leads for training companies, KPIs can be aggressive. There may be significant pressure to maintain rankings and generate leads continuously. 2. Repetitive Content Work A considerable portion of the work may involve optimizing course pages, updating existing content, and creating SEO briefs repeatedly. If you prefer diverse SEO activities, the role could become monotonous. 3. Limited Strategic Ownership In some organizations, SEO Analysts mainly execute tasks while strategy is decided by managers or senior SEO specialists. Confirm during the interview whether you will be involved in strategy, technical audits, and decision-making. 4. Dependency on Content Teams and Developers SEO success often depends on developers and content writers implementing recommendations. Delays from other teams can impact your performance metrics.

Pros

The only positive thing I can mention is that the head trainer Peter Thomson is a stand-up guy who knows what he's doing. I don't know how TKA keeps him. He's better quality than to work for them.

Kontras

The Knowledge Academy TKA is the worst I've seen in 30 years in IT I was contacted to train for The Knowledge Academy (TKA). I conducted TOGAF certification level one and two classes in Memphis May 1-4. TKA is by far the worst company I have ever been involved with in my entire 30 year+ career. I was (under)paid $300 a day for teaching a class they were charging $5000 per delegate to attend. They arranged the hotel (not allowed to do it myself). It was a ghetto hotel, in the midst of abandon buildings with a drug dealer stationed out front. The floors were sticky to walk on and infested with Cockroaches. The coordinators - all from India - couldn't write emails in discernable English and were totally lacking in any customer service etiquette. If you're a Trainer - BEWARE!. If you're a potential delegate! There are better cheaper (half the price) certification mills in abundance. They are horrible. D- or F score. Every possible horrible thing they do. Over Charge delegates. Under Pay trainers. Horrible customer service. Coordinators in India don't know how to craft a whole sentence or even spell it right. They will not pay you promptly.
