LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the customers!!!! Most of the part-time staff are amazing - very selfless and all work together to help the customers solve organizational problems in their life. Since we aren't commissioned; everyone plays off of each others strengths, experiences, knowledge, etc. to find the best for our customers.

I have NEVER worked anyplace where using corporate "vocabulary" is valued, almost revered, more than your actual job performance or work ethic. Managers are called to the sales floor for help but they don't show up. They pick and choose the tasks they will actually complete; although it's part of their job description. Managers say our schedules are 3 weeks out, but it's actually 2. They spend 85% - 90% in their offices, at times watching the cameras to see if there are "too many blue aprons" together. You're encouraged to communicate, but only what management wants communicated. Nothing negative can be said about full-time employees, or managers, nor any "manager's pets". You can, however, communicate (tattle) on other part-time employees.
