The aerospace/defense industry as a whole makes interesting products. Small company feel with big company resources. Textron Systems is making great branding progress over the past 2 years since becoming more unified. Great work environment and seems to be growth opportunities throughout Textron.
Kontras
Lucrative defense contracts seem to be hard to come by in the current economy. TS would not negotiate starting salary. Positions appear to have set salary rates.
