1) As Teradata DBA, you get access to a lot of stuff to learn 2) If you are lucky, you get to work on other technologies like Oracle, AWS and Hadoop 3) Until last year, salary hike used to be higher than most of the other organizations 4) With 8-hour shifts and less workload, there's "Work-Life" balance for most people. 5) There's a big transformation going on which is likely to increase workload, but at the same time lead to company's growth which should trickle down to employees as well.

1) Like in most organizations, your success and growth depends on the kind of manager you get and on the kind of project you get to work with 2) If you do not get to work on good projects, your scope of knowledge could get restricted. 3) Teradata as a technology has not been able to hold on to its customers, as a result, deep within some of the employees feel insecure of their future with this technology
