Teradata is a reputable, very ethical company. It has a great, proven, market leading product and it is greatly involved in the newest trends and technologies such as Hadoop and advanced analytics. The accessibility to higher management, including C-level is excellent. Very good information and knowledge transfer within the company, many learning opportunities. Compensation is good.
Kontras
Teradata is (incorrectly) perceived as expensive and old-tech; this impacted and continue to impact business. Open source and Silicon Valley startups eat into Teradata's revenue. A global transformation/renewal project is underway, but outcome is uncertain; Teradata is to big to be as agile as it should be. Widely shared speculation is that Teradata will be sold in a few years time.
