Pros
The work-life balance can be flexible depending on the manager you have. There is an expected 3 days/week in office expectation, but it depends on whether your manager just cares if you get your work done or not. Some managers are very chill and some micro-manage. If you want more work, you have to ask for it. The company culture is pretty good and the benefits are comparable as well.
Kontras
The requirement to go back to the office for 3 days/week is unfavorable to all employees. We used to be hybrid and you could go in depending on if you needed to or not. It is a slow growth position, and you have to start doing the work of a position above you before you are provided a promotion. You have to show you can manage the increased work / self-development then use that to argue for a promotion. Some managers are too chill and it can be difficult to obtain challenges and opportunities for growth.
