Difficult for career growth and upward mobility as Software Engineer - Senior Software Engineer bei Target: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Upward mobility and opportunity for career growth is very limited. The top levels (i.e. directors, senior managers, vp's, etc.) all play things very politically and its a constant rotation amongst themselves. Once you're hired in, they will do whatever they can to keep you around that salary, even if you're promoted. I speak from experience and a decent tenure with the company. When I've pressed upper management about it I was told "You're best bet would be to leave and come back."
