a lot of the really lazy people got as many hours as they wanted on a set schedule and anyone who tried hard got called in on their off days, scheduled next to no hours, and were scheduled on weekends and nights almost exclusively. Definitely rewarded being lazy. Also they treated hours as though they were a benefit for being a good worker, if I am a good worker I want to get a better raise, if me and someone who decides to do nothing get paid the same, it is not rewarding for me to try harder.
