Pros

Steady paycheck, you lead your own team, benefits are offered (but pricey), opportunities for you to develop your team with professional growth

Kontras

Once a sales floor team leader, there is no further professional growth. The Targets in my area/group always hired from the outside and did not even post internal growth opportunities. They do not treat their Team Leaders fairly and sometimes make decisions based off seniority. Their expectations are constantly changing and their Executive Team Leader turnover was ridiculous while I was employed with the company.
