Company has a focus on development that constantly pushes you to be your best. If you have self-drive, you could develop a great foundation in leadership through team lead meetings, feedback, investing time in your bi-weekly work center reports, and quarterly statuses.

However great their philosophies may seem, and can actualize at times, any employee, regardless of position, eventually feels the real mission at hand: to make the company money. The focus on development is all good and gravy until you realize that they are just trying to see how much they can get out of you and your team for less money. When you are short staffed, which is most of the time, there is no time for development or follow up at all.
