Pros
I get all my hours, TL's are nice and professional. Co-workers can be enjoyable. Training was 4 weeks, with nesting. There are opportunities to go to other departments. It's a below average minimum wage job, but in this economy where jobs aren't giving hours like they're supposed to its better than most. Stick it out until you can find something better and solid. Once you get used to it, it can be pretty reliable.
Kontras
Not enough support, Not enough employees. LAYOFFS. Forced OT sometimes. Sometimes you will be switched to a new department with no pay change and more work (AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DECLINE). After initial training, you get 0 training (FOR CHANGES TO THE SYSTEM/DOCUMENTATION) and will have to learn on the go. You will have to pick up changes with no warning in the middle of a call. Customers can be confusing & difficult. You will periodically be screamed and yelled at, blamed for things you can't control. You CANNOT chose your hours in the beginning. Its a god awful system, where you basically have to submit faster than your co-workers. Many people quit during this phase when they don't get the hours they want. Stay while you can as a job is not guaranteed, one day you're here and the next day your entire department is laid off. And that is not an exaggeration at all.
