Pros

Good Bonus A lot of new learning

Kontras

WLB is basically non-existent. Official hours start at 8:30am, but you're expected to be online by 8. Most days don’t end before 8pm. There’s no predictability either. Even though work “ends” at 5:30pm, you can’t make plans 2–3 hours after because things keep coming up. People will call you on your days off, and if you don’t pick up, it gets noticed and questioned the next day. Pay raises are very low. I had a strong PMD rating and still only got around a 3–4.5% increase, which makes you wonder what the point of pushing so hard is. The culture leans heavily toward blame instead of problem-solving. Attrition is high, especially among local hires, which seems to be why there’s a constant need to bring in assignees from Taiwan. Also, a lot of the training material is in Mandarin/Chinese, which makes onboarding harder if you’re not familiar with the language. More tools keep being added, yet managed by the same number of people.
