Speaking from my own experience, working at THG was genuinely one of the most difficult jobs I’ve ever had. The culture felt toxic from the top down — bullying was brushed off as “pressure” and there were moments where racism and discrimination were ignored rather than addressed. Management seemed to thrive on intimidation, and there was little to no real support for staff. We were constantly expected to work long hours, often under impossible deadlines, with minimal appreciation or recognition. Pay never reflected the effort or stress, and job security was practically non-existent — people were let go suddenly and without clear reasons. The environment made it hard to speak up or feel valued, and after a while, it just became exhausting and demoralising.
