the benefits--even for part-time employees--are the most appealing part of the job. full health insurance and vacation time from day 1.

the main challenges are dealing with difficult situations with customers on the phone, and then having to keep up with the company's goals per person. each call brings a new situation and the goals are created based on what they were the previous year, which makes it feel like they don't take into account unique circumstances that may arise, leaving little room for error.

The systems constantly lag and freeze, making an already stressful job even harder. You’re expected to handle the work of multiple roles while meeting unrealistic metrics and learning countless procedures. Calls are often back-to-back, and the two-minute breaks during busy times aren’t enough to recharge. Dealing with verbally abusive customers is common, and you’re required to give multiple warnings before ending a call. While there are opportunities to move into other roles, promotions often feel more dependent on who you know than your actual skills or performance. Overall, it’s a mentally exhausting, high-stress environment.
