Company needs to improve - Senior Engineer bei Synchronoss: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Burnout from 17 years of working long hours including evenings and weekends. I have worked 110 hour weeks and several concurrent 100+ hour weeks. I have a strong work ethic and will always go above/beyond what is required of me and take on additional responsibilities outside my role.

Health issues related to burnout. I have to do a better job at work/life balance, actually take PTO and disconnect. When I would take PTO, I would still attend calls and respond to emails as I felt it my responsibility to serve my customers.

Great PR, Leadership team always know the right thing to say.

Great on paper, but awful in execution. Mid to senior management bloat, i.e, too many chefs in the kitchen... leading to constant hinderances (clash of egos) to actual progress on process improvements that the company needs desperately.
