It's a start up - you can't ever rest on your laurels. Things change fast and sometimes that is challenging, but for the most part, worth it.

Working at a start up that’s been acquired means that you still have room to gain experience which was the case for me.

My manager had a lot of things on their plate and while their intent was to support me (no fault of their own) not much attention could be given to a contractor so had to learn everything on my own with minimum support.
