They basically invented residential solar in North Carolina. They've trained a lot of people into the renewable energy world.

Techno-phobic. Terrible pay. Toxic masculinity and sexism. Presents itself as a collaborative enterprise with employee profit-sharing, but the profit-sharing is opaque and nebulous, and the major decisions are made unilaterally.

Working in the field of renewable energy was gratifying and rewarding, however...

The work environment is not safe for women, or anyone really. Upper management turns a blind eye to documented abuse. The CEO himself is one of the most verbally abusive people I have ever met. Numerous people have quit because of the company culture and toxic environment which leads to high turnover and a chaotic workplace. DO NOT WORK HERE. Additionally, the pay is way way below industry standards. Installers do the hardest work and only make $14/hour. It’s a joke.
