My first 18 months at Sumo were amazing! Leadership came from both security and observability backgrounds and it was an amazing regional team to be part of.

Then all management left from top to bottom across the region and got replaced with people with zero background across the business. All the account execs churned taking the product knowledge and customer knowledge with them. Then to top it all off, we got sold out to a PE firm with a less than stellar portfolio of companies with either security or observability background. Great people were let go as profits before people took hold. Communication ceased and the very little that did dribble out was confusing. I saw nothing in my final 6 months that encouraged me to stay.
