I spent 2 1/2 years with the company and was let go Feb 2021. So much drama everywhere. A week before the whole pandemic started, I was wrongfully accused of calling a agent the B word. Everyone that knows me knows that I would NEVER say that to an agent. HR did a partial review of the case and I even after all the witnesses who went to HR said I was innocent, I was placed on an IMMEDIATE final. (I never been on any corrective action at ANY job in past) I was upset and I did not even get my write up for it either. 11 months later Feb 2021 I had a very long call with a customer and I was frustrated bc I just got off a 2 hour phone call. When I got off work, I went on fb in a private group where call center agents all over the world come together and we can just vent. Some of the co workers from this place was in this group. Well of course when your upset and need to vent, I went to this group and made a venting post. I did not mention company names or co worker names or anything. No customer info was provided and it was just a venting post. Well a certain co worker that still works for the company screen shot my post and then sent it to HR. The next day around 1ish I get a call from HR saying they are going to suspend me pending an investigation and I was what for and HR said it was for a post. I said so..... No one allowed to vent? Do you want me to vent in a private group or to a customer? HR lady was very condescending to me and said we still have to suspend you. Now no one in company signed any type of social media agreement. So I have a 3 1/2 day weekend and Monday comes. HR calls and said their investigation has been completed. That I am being terminated for my post + they accused me of threatening a co worker and had to report me to Beloit WI PD. I laughed and asked HR 7x what the threat was. HR then responded "were not getting anywhere and hung up on me! I was PISSED! Next day Beloit WI PD calls me and asks my side of story. The officer then told me what State Collections HR Team said to them. HR told Beloit PD that I told another agent that I was going to have her stuff watched. I told PD yeah I said that but like Big Brother being watched. Officer asked if I blocked the co worker, I said hell yeah and he laughed. I also blocked the other person as well. I told the officer that I am 34 yrs old and never been to jail, juve or prison and my record is cleaner then gold. I said I dont care how mad a person makes me, I am not going to harm them or do anything stupid. Everyone else at the company knew I was friendly and funny and awesome. And the funniest thing is the co worker who costed me my job, a few weeks prior asked me advise of getting through the airport and stuff. Anyways I contacted the president of state collections and he didnt do anything for me. Every score card I got from this company I passed with flying colors but yet was treated like this. I never had any disciplinary action at ANY job but yet start here? The HR is biased. They have also done similar situation's from other employees. Once HR has it for you, it is done. I was able to recover quickly as the group on FB caught wind of what happened and I was offered a new job 3 weeks later with higher pay and permanent work from home and the job is so peaceful.
