The company has been evolving over the last 18 months, before we were struck by the COVID pandemic, which triggered some accelerated change. We were negatively impacted by COVID and needed to take action to be fiscally responsible by reducing headcount. We recognize that there will be business decisions that are difficult to understand, without having been involved in the decision making process. However, we are confident that the leadership team has acted with integrity and transparency through our need to reduce headcount, and have worked hard to balance the needs of our staff with the realities of our business.
