We’re constantly surveilled over cameras by upper management sitting on their butts, expecting us to visit a family to interrupt their conversation TWICE after letting them know about promotions. I was singled out for drawing on a post-it note when it’d been slow, no one came in for 30 minutes, and there was nothing else to straighten/clean. Management will pick every little thing apart. They think it’s gonna help sales and keep employees accountable but it really just breeds a culture of distrust and hostility. I mean they are watching those cameras like absolute hawks. It is so hostile and harsh. Which is ironic, because that doesn’t align with the company ethos they promote to us or the customers.
