One of the most unprofessional and psychologically exhausting workplaces I have experienced in my career. I joined this organization with genuine enthusiasm and long-term intentions, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be deeply disappointing due to toxic management practices, lack of professionalism, workplace intimidation, favoritism, and an unhealthy work culture. The company lacks structure, transparency, and professional leadership. Employees are heavily micromanaged, constantly monitored, and often made to work in an atmosphere driven by fear rather than collaboration or trust. Senior employees openly shout at juniors, and raising concerns about inappropriate behaviour is discouraged rather than addressed. The infrastructure itself reflects the company’s disregard for employee well-being. Teams were expected to work for long hours in small, poorly ventilated cabins with inadequate air conditioning and no proper employee facilities such as a cafeteria or even basic comfort arrangements. There were also serious concerns regarding workplace security infrastructure, including non-functional CCTV coverage in certain areas. The culture appears heavily influenced by internal politics and personal relationships rather than merit or competence. Certain individuals close to leadership seemed to receive unquestioned authority despite displaying poor professionalism, lack of accountability, and inadequate operational understanding. I personally witnessed situations where employees contributing actual work were sidelined while credit was redirected elsewhere. One particularly concerning experience involved a senior individual repeatedly taking ideas, inputs, and execution support from team members and later presenting the work as their own contribution before leadership. At the same time, misinformation and negative narratives about employees were casually circulated, creating an extremely unhealthy environment. Another employee in the marketing department consistently displayed aggressive and intimidating behaviour despite holding a managerial designation. Questioning incomplete work or delays often resulted in shouting, hostile conduct, and attempts to intimidate employees instead of taking accountability. In one incident, the behaviour became physically intimidating enough to make me feel genuinely unsafe. What was most disappointing was the lack of serious action despite concerns being raised internally. The HR team itself appeared undervalued and burdened with responsibilities far outside professional HR functions, which further reflected the lack of organizational structure. In my 6+ years of professional experience, I have never experienced this level of workplace toxicity, mental stress, politics, and disrespect. During my tenure, I saw multiple employees resign, several people lose their jobs, and others leave due to the same concerns. The biggest red flag, in my opinion, is the company’s treatment of probation employees. Employees are expected to contribute aggressively, handle major responsibilities, and deliver results, but there appears to be very little long-term stability, recognition, or growth afterward. Many employees ultimately felt disposable. I discussed my experience with several senior professionals across industries, including Business Managers, CEOs, HR leaders, and Software Developers, and the common reaction was shock at the level of dysfunction described. I rarely write negative reviews, but future employees deserve transparency before making an important career decision. I genuinely hope the organization reflects on its leadership style, employee treatment, workplace safety, and overall culture before more people go through similar experiences.
