Pros

Before newer management, AMI and the management there showed more compassion for the employees and care about their well-being. -Associate discount (If you can even get a day off to use it) -Friends and Family discount But when I was there, they rarely let you use it- very strict policy for employees. -Looks good on a resume -Staff is kind (when I worked there) Housekeeping and maintenance were really good and very sweet.

After getting "real jobs" later in life, I realize how absolutely horrendous and even unlawful this place was. There are virtually no perks of working here, even after dedicating many years to this place. 1) No benefits for Full time employees 2) Bad management-Lazy/micromanaging 3) Low pay but heavy workloads 4) Inconsistent hours and denied time off requests 5) No Paid time off offered 6) No 401K 7) No celebrations/recognizing employees like "employee of the month" 8) No upward mobility opportunities (even though they say there are) 9) Small heavily taxed Christmas bonus (like $50.00 for the year) 10) They take advantage of younger work-force for cheap labor- experienced work adults would not work here. 11) Many, many,many, many, many laws were broken- both employment laws and business laws. It's really hard to work somewhere with no business ethic standards. 12) No values, no structure, no mission/mantra or core values. 13) Cheap, everything is just cheaply made. Big problems are resolved with small band-aids, making it difficult to do your job well. I really don't know how this place is still open. It's a shame- this is no Marriott by standard, only the name. This is just from the front desk perspective, being in housekeeping and maintenance are no better, if worse.

1$ raise every year. funny guests. Free stays at hotels sometimes.

Favoritism. My hours were cut to bits for no reason. I had to work every holiday because i didnt have kids lol
