Pros

The company gives great opportunities to people with not a lot of experience, seeming to aim more for attitude than accolades. The job is work from home, which is great, although not all jobs at the company are. Everyone here, higher-ups especially, are passionate and really care about their colleagues. You can tell they all have drive. Pretty much everyone on the CSX team was super friendly and cared for the customers. I can't think of someone I didn't admire on the team. The pay is really good, all things considered, especially for the loans team. Something I found amazing was how much opportunity there is for movement within the company. You can practically work any role no matter what position you enter the company from. They're always eager to train and provide those opportunities.

My qualms are honestly not down to anything related to the CSX team. I had so many heartbreaking calls with people trapped in by the legacy product, as well as many irate customers pretty much all relating to that product. I can't imagine that there are people still on the legacy product now, though, so it's probably better on that front. But when it was an issue, it made it a very stressful work environment. The position is full-time ONLY, and it is hard to balance work and life with having to wind down from these stressful calls until the late afternoon/evening and still be able to do human things. Communication between departments is sometimes very difficult; relying on people reading messages while you have someone on hold instead of having phone lines to transfer clients to for the most part. It was the cause of many irate customers and people frequently calling in that couldn't get in touch with their loan agent. And on the subject of loan agents, this department was the biggest gripe I had with the company. The company sets goals, as expected in a sales environment, with huge bonuses. To hit these bonuses there is some agents that engage in scummy and borderline predatory tactics to ensure they have the most sales and signups that month. I would like to make it clear that Spring does NOT encourage or teach these tactics, and does reprimand when it does come up but it still happens anyways and flies under the radar. As a CSX agent I saw these customers often and I felt I did not have a space to speak up when these suspicious scenarios crept up. This is what ultimately drove me to quit. I couldn't in good conscience work for a company where this was happening. Whether or not I can recommend this job depends on your personal morals, and whether you can handle long hours of irate callers.

Pros

Spring Financial Company provides a robust training program on loans and credit, helping employees develop skills in the financial services sector. My manager is supportive and willing to help me succeed, even providing one-on-one follow-ups from time to time. Shout-out to Miss Varna, who was a great and loving manager.

Kontras

Dealing with difficult customers can be a significant aspect of my job, and I find it emotionally draining sometimes.
