Pros

Very delicious food every Saturday. Potential to make a lot of money off of one car. Nothing else really.

Kontras

For some reason the advertising budget is mismanaged and that means that no customers come through the door. Old school closing style. They don't believe that a customer is just looking. They play 80's rock and roll music all day. No form of diversity in their music. They don't really train their New sales consultants.

Pros

Same location since the 1980s with a great reputation in our community. Penske Automotive is a very Employee driven company.

Kontras

No downside to working at Spring Branch Honda. It is a retail business, so the schedule is not for everyone.

Pros

Great people, good location, and they give you a lot of training. Good place to start in the business, before moving on to better opportunities.

Kontras

Comp plan is way below what other dealerships pay. They are always competing with bigger dealerships around them, and have to discount their cars to get sales. The "mini" is only $100, and no "back end" pay. The only way to make good money is by selling volume to hit the bonuses, but you need to sell at least 20+ cars every month to make real money, and only a hand full of the sales team makes that.
