      Pros

      Very clean and upbeat shop, love my coworkers, very original MVP experience which clients seem to enjoy as well.

      TIMING is ridiculous (haircut, steamed towel, shampoo, shoulder massage) within 20-22 mins, have to buy our own products, the way certain performance #s are calculated are not accurate, should be payed more since commission is difficult to get.

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
