      Pros

      Great atmosphere and fellow employees, provides hourly salary and bonus based on backbar and retail. Store stays busy with customers and services are quick since it is targeted towards men. Hours weren't bad 5-8 hour shifts a day with 2 days off.

      Kontras

      open 7 days a week, and closed for major holidays, you don't get to schedule yourself, "frowned upon" to retain or recruit clients when you leave.

      Kontras

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Kontras

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
