Where to start… there are so many issues at this place. Favoritism is a major problem and directly affects everything from trivial perks like company swag to meaningful financial rewards. Another serious issue is how frequently layoffs occur, sometimes as often as once a year. This has degraded the company culture into one where employees focus on signaling that they are valuable and protecting themselves from blame rather than working normally. If you have a job offer elsewhere, take it.
